Western Ranches for Sale

The Most Desirable Ranch Land

Our ranches span the Powder River and Tongue River basins of Wyoming and Montana. This region, bounded on the west by the beautiful Wyoming Bighorn Mountains and the range lands to the east where the Tongue and Powder rivers join the Yellowstone, is home to one of the most desirable ranch land markets in the American West.

This incredible landmass is historically one of the most coveted in the Western United States. Countless confrontations were waged among Plains Indian tribes competing for its bountiful riches. In the mid 19th century, the U.S. Government opened the region to European settlement which manifested into brutal conflicts between Native Americans and the U.S. Calvary. This is the home of the infamous Little Bighorn.

Cattle barons from the south trailed millions of cattle from southern states like Texas seeking abundant grass and plentiful water all for better gains and of course, better profits. Pioneers like O.H. Wallop discovered how horses thrived when raised on its nutrient rich grasses and with others like him, purchased vast tracts of land that quickly evolved into a world-renowned horse raising region.

Lifestyles cherished here are embraced by stunning vistas, pure water originating high atop the Bighorn Mountains and fauna including nearly every big game species in the lower 48. The residents are hard working and self-reliant while being charitable, caring people devoted to public service. We are proud of our award winning schools, world class cultural amenities, renowned cattle, world class polo horses, champion racehorses, working stock and recreational horses.

This is our home. Judged by any standard, an amazing place to own ranch land. We invite you to learn more.

Ranches are significant. They are experiences that define the culture and legacy of the American West. More than financial investments, they are investments in lifestyle and character.
